Style Week OC 2015 Fashion Blogging

It is Sunday, September 13, 2015, 5:39pm, and Style Week OC 2015 has started. This fashion event is OC's fashion week, where many designers and stores promote clothes and accessories at certain malls. I noticed that this year, it has become less extravagant because they used to make big deal and big shows in the past couple of years. I am getting older now, and I don't really have the energy to be running around, from one mall to the next, following their in-store parties and fashion shows.

But, this year, Style Week OC, started their events in Fashion Island, in Newport Beach, where a couple on Wednesday, September 9th. There were two in-store parties, which provide the latest fashion styling tips and snacks. Then, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, at the same mall, there was a 7pm fashion show on each night.

Next weekend, there will be fashion shows at the Irvine Spectrum mall, displaying the latest fall fashions for the stores in that mall. The top FIDM fashion designers will also display their Modern Luxury outfit for Fall 2015. There will also be a Surf and Sport fashion show at the Irvine Spectrum mall.

Also, there are some in-store parties at the Tustin Market Place mini mall, which I never go there anyway. So, I am not even sure what stores are in that mini mall complex.

The third major mall in Orange County is South Coast Plaza, and these days it appears that they have retired from doing any fashion events. Their latest fashion shows that I have attend a year or two ago really sucked because South Coast Plaza used to do really good shows, especially at Nordstrom. That mall is going downhill, these days, and they haven't been doing much of anything these days. This year, there wasn't any Style Week OC events at this store.

I didn't feel like attending the Fashion Island fashion shows this year. But I might attend the Spectrum shows. But I did receive a California Style Magazine September Issue this year from South Coast Plaza, and this September Issue is always the thickest issue, similar to Vogue Magazine publishing guidelines. So, I promoted some Style Week OC items from the magazine, courtesy South Coast Plaza on some of my Bubblews blogs.
